Where There's a Weed, There's a Way!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Open Morning at the community growing space. With plenty of helping hands, we gave the site a much-needed refresh and made some great improvements.
Together, we built new compost heaps, tackled the weeds across the growing areas, and relocated the log circle to a safer spot – away from the falling plums! We also revitalised the seating area by clearing weeds, laying fresh cardboard and adding a new layer of woodchip, making it a more welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
It was a fantastic morning of teamwork and we’re grateful to everyone who came along and helped make such a positive difference. We look forward to seeing you at our next community session!
